【樂(lè)隊(duì)介紹】
Death Cab for Cutie, 來(lái)自華盛頓柏林漢姆的四人Indie Pop樂(lè)團(tuán)。成立于1997年，默默無(wú)聞兩年之后他們簽到了獨(dú)立Barsuk（俄語(yǔ)獾熊的意思），樂(lè)隊(duì)的名字來(lái)自英國(guó)六十年代末著名迷幻樂(lè)隊(duì)The Bonzo Dog Band的處女作專(zhuān)輯《Gorilla》里的一首歌的名字，他們不愿對(duì)此解釋過(guò)多，只說(shuō)去聽(tīng)聽(tīng)那首歌就知道了。多數(shù)Death Cab for Cutie的歌都像是歌者的自述，他講的都是生活中的領(lǐng)悟和對(duì)未來(lái)的美好憧憬。樂(lè)隊(duì)主唱Ben Gibbard說(shuō)：“我們的歌曲是真誠(chéng)的，也許我們會(huì)為丘比特的冷落而憂(yōu)心忡忡，也許我們不會(huì)把痛苦和聽(tīng)眾分享，但是我們只是想唱一些快樂(lè)的歌曲與別人分享。”可是不幸在2000年的夏天降臨到樂(lè)隊(duì)身上，一連串的事故讓這幾個(gè)年輕人心灰意冷，先是樂(lè)隊(duì)因?yàn)榻?jīng)理人的問(wèn)題產(chǎn)生了激烈的矛盾，然后鼓手Nathan Good的離開(kāi)讓樂(lè)隊(duì)幾乎解散。好在最后樂(lè)隊(duì)克服了這些矛盾，他們找來(lái)了新的鼓手 Michael Schorr并且錄制了一張紀(jì)念這段經(jīng)歷的EP《Forbidden Love》。
