Rivenden City Theatre剛剛裝修完畢，劇場的公共關(guān)系專員接受了當?shù)貜V播之聲的采訪。采訪內(nèi)容涉及劇場重新裝修后的設(shè)施、服務(wù)及開業(yè)后第一部上演的戲的價錢和上演時間等。

在英國，看演出被認為是有良好修養(yǎng)(high culture)，校內(nèi)劇場一般比校外影劇院上映速度稍慢一周左右，但校內(nèi)劇場依然比校外優(yōu)惠許多。

文本及疑難解析
1. The first thing people will see when they go in is that the foyer has been repainted in the original green and gold.
人們進來以后第一看到的是大廳被粉刷一新成綠色和金色。
original一般被理解為“原來的，原本的”，而本句則是“新的”意思。

2. Then the box office has been reoriented，with its own access from the side of the building.
售票處也更換了位置，從樓的側(cè)面可以直接到達。
reoriented在本句中表達的意思可以用situated和located替換。另外，在雅思考試中還?？紀rientation，它一般指學(xué)校開學(xué)后第一周讓學(xué)生適應(yīng)環(huán)境的介紹課程。

3. The shop that used to be in the foyer, which sold books and CDs, is the one part of the redevelopment which isn't yet complete.
原來在大廳中賣書和CD的商店也是重建的一部分，但目前還沒有完工。

第11～16題為配對題。
配對題的解題過程分為兩步：聽清原文中的用詞，再選擇一個能夠表達相同含義的選項。
第11題的with its own access from the side of the building證明有另一個入口，第12題的原文與選項表達的動詞相反，即“open vs. close”，但reopen in the next few months(幾個月內(nèi)重開)和temporarily closed(暫時關(guān)閉)意思相同。其余題目以相同方式和思路解決，需要注意A選項和D選項的number和size不同。

第17～20題與數(shù)字相關(guān)。
難點在第18題，原文中出現(xiàn)了很多時間：7:30指原來開始的時間，9:45指現(xiàn)在節(jié)目結(jié)束的時間。第20題同樣出現(xiàn)了混淆信息，正確答案出現(xiàn)在標志性詞but之后。
