116 key projects with a total investment of 212.7 billion yuan (31 billion US dollars) were released in Beijing recently. The projects include 60 in sci-tech innovation and high-tech industry, 38 projects to improve people's lives and 18 for infrastructure.

北京發(fā)布122個民間資本參與項目 總投資1239億元

122 key field projects involving private capital were released in Beijing, covering 8 industries such as modern services, urban renewal, cultural tourism and sports. The total investment of the projects is nearly 124 billion yuan (over 18 billion US dollars), 93 of which intend to raise over 64 billion yuan (9 billion US dollars) of private capital.

The China National Archives of Publications and Culture - consisting of headquarters in Beijing and branches in three major Chinese cities - officially opened on July 30. Viewed as a "seed bank" for Chinese culture, the new facilities will play a huge role in the inheritance and preservation of Chinese civilization. The institute's three branches are in Hangzhou, East China's Zhejiang Province, Xi'an in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province and Guangzhou in South China's Guangdong Province. Located at the northward central axis of Beijing and at the foot of Yanshan Mountain, the headquarters of the institute in Beijing has reserved more than 16 million copies of historical tests and tens of thousands exhibits across 10 major categories.

第十三屆中國藝術(shù)節(jié)9月在北京開幕

The 13th China Art Festival will open in Beijing on Sep 1st. It will feature opening and closing ceremonies, stage art performances and fine arts exhibitions. 58 works are nominated for the Wenhua Award and another 30 excellent works will be performed in the festival. During the festival, Beijing will hold 2833 online and offline public cultural activities.

The Ice Sports Center of the Ice Cube started trial operation on Aug 1st and will officially open on Aug 8. As an important legacy of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, the Center has a standard ice rink of 1830 Square meters and a professional curling rink of 900 square meters. It will become a comprehensive ice events venue integrating seven functions, such as competitions, public fitness and training.

消費券拉動京郊游迎來最旺暑期

Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism started issuing the second batch of Coupons for suburban accommodations on Aug 1st. According to big data provided by the voucher issuing platform Qunar, from July 10 to July 28, accommodation bookings in Beijing’s suburbs increased nearly four times compared with the previous month, and the amount of accommodation consumption in the suburbs were 2.5 times the number during the same period last year. During this period, the total value of coupons used was over 10 million yuan (1.5 million US dollars), saving consumers up to 814 yuan (about 121 US dollars) per order on average.

北京市文旅局發(fā)放的京郊住宿消費券第一期已于7月31日結(jié)束，據(jù)發(fā)券平臺去哪兒提供的大數(shù)據(jù)，自7月10日發(fā)券至7月28日，京郊住宿預(yù)訂量環(huán)比前一個月同期(6月10日至6月28日)增長近4倍，京郊住宿消費額達(dá)到2021年同期2.5倍。經(jīng)平臺測算，7月10日至7月28日，京郊消費券已使用(以預(yù)訂為準(zhǔn))消費金額達(dá)1000萬元以上，平均每單為消費者節(jié)省高達(dá)814元。

Beijing's Xicheng district recently held a foreign language training online and offline for 330 government employees. The district government affairs service centers currently have 97 foreign language signage, 11 foreign language service windows and 12 staff members providing foreign language services.
