葡萄牙和英國至今還履行著世界上現(xiàn)行最老的外交聯(lián)盟，只要一國參戰(zhàn)，另一國也會跟著參戰(zhàn)。

葡萄牙就是這樣參與第一次世界大戰(zhàn)的。

Portugal and England have the oldest diplomatic alliance in the world. The Anglo-Portuguese Alliance was signed in 1373 and is in force until this day! Both countries entered wars to defend the other, including the United Kingdom entering the Iberian Peninsular War and Portugal entering World War I.
葡萄牙和英格蘭擁有世界上最古老的外交聯(lián)盟。英葡聯(lián)盟于1373年簽署，并且至今任然有效！兩國都曾參為保衛(wèi)對方而參戰(zhàn)，包括英國參加伊比利亞半島戰(zhàn)爭和葡萄牙參加第一次世界大戰(zhàn)。
