美甲用到的詞是manicure，這個(gè)詞既有動(dòng)詞“修指甲”的意思，也可作名詞。注意：這個(gè)詞僅用來形容“手部指甲護(hù)理”，如果說“腳部指甲護(hù)理”，用的是pedicure這個(gè)詞。

而很多人常用的指甲油，英文則是nail polish。
