今天我們聊聊英語(yǔ)中的介詞，介詞往往都是英語(yǔ)中拼寫(xiě)最簡(jiǎn)單的，但是用法卻很復(fù)雜。而about（關(guān)于）就是這樣一個(gè)本身沒(méi)有確定的含義，必須結(jié)合上下文才會(huì)發(fā)生作用的虛詞。

例句：

His new book is about?the situation in?Bosnia.

他的新書(shū)是關(guān)于波斯尼亞局勢(shì)的。

Mr.?Smith?loves to talk about?what's?wrong with the government.

史密斯先生愛(ài)談?wù)惺裁床粚?duì)。

通常about后面會(huì)跟名詞或作為名詞用的詞組，但是美語(yǔ)中的用法卻有一些不同。

例句：

Midterm?elections are all about?voter?turnout.

中期選舉完全是“關(guān)于”選民出動(dòng)。

其實(shí)這句話的意思就是：The key to winning midterm elections is voter turnout.(中期選舉取勝的關(guān)鍵在發(fā)動(dòng)選民“出來(lái)投票”。)。

Business travel?isn't?about?adventure -?it's about controlling your?temple and keeping?boredom?at bay.

出差旅行不是“關(guān)于”新奇經(jīng)驗(yàn)--而是“關(guān)于”不發(fā)脾氣，避免煩悶。

這句話的意思其實(shí)就是：There's no adventure in business travel - you just have to control your temper and keep from getting bored.(出差旅行不是什么新奇經(jīng)驗(yàn)--主要的是“機(jī)場(chǎng)遇到麻煩”別發(fā)火，“長(zhǎng)途飛行”別感覺(jué)煩悶。)

The mouse is about money -?nothing more or less.

老鼠是不折不扣的“關(guān)于”錢(qián)。

其實(shí)也就是：Mickey Mouse is in business only to make money - that's all.(“米”老鼠做生意只是為了賺錢(qián)--別無(wú)其他。)
